Ok, guess who just called me! Go ahead take a guess... 3... 2... 1... BZZZZZ!
Cop! We haven't spoke once since the day we got in our huge fight and he came to get his stuff. Then he calls out of the blue today and made me cry, the bastard. I answered and he goes "I miss you and I love you, and if anything ever happened to you I'd never forgive myself. I'm sorry... for everything." then he was hella sniffling... he was crying! My first thought was that he left his wife and needed somewhere to go. He said everything with her is fine, they're doing good, but he had a dream about me last night and realized he fucked up. When I realized it was sincere, and he didn't need or want anything from me I totally cried. I'm still waiting towake up from this dream, I NEVER EVER EVER thought this would happen. Wow.

But.............
I'm gonna break rank here yet again and shun the guy code by putting this out there. You say that he didn't need or want anything from you. That's where I gotta blow a potential foul whistle and say "Somebody ALWAYS wants or needs something."
In my case, sometimes it's just to make my self feel better. I speak to #2 from time to time. And I'm nice as pie. Just like old friends (even after taking an 8 year mental ass kicking). Ya know why?? 2 rules to live by on this one #1) Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. And #2) The best revenge is living well. So i let her know how great things are going while I listen to her stories about not being able to make it in Lincoln City,Oregon (she went there to "find" herself".
So..just beware. Like I said, I hope I'm wrong. But I'm like a god damn tea kettle at this point..I've been burned so many times.

Funny you shuld ask that. Minutes before I wrote that I went to Starbucks and downed a grande (which I will always refer to as fucking MEDIUM!) carmel machiato. Can you tell that I'm a cafeine junkie?? Does it really show? I mean, how come I can't seem to hide the fact that I need caf.....
