Something new
I'm sitting here at work, bored to death, and decided my blog needed a makeover. So... here it is. I love it. I think it's perfect for me right now.Not much is new, I've been on the prozac for a week now and I can't tell yet if it's making a difference. I also got a call back from the therapist my Dr. referred me to, she told me I don't meet the "criteria" to be seen, that I need to have two failed medications before I can be seen there. Great, that's awesome... so what she's saying is you need to try to cover up the problem with medication and have that fail twice before you can start working on solving the problem. I told my Dr. what she said and he was like "Are you kidding? That is such bullshit!" I'm glad I'm not the only person who saw something wrong with that. So, guess I need to work on finding somewhere else to go. In the meantime, I'm doing well. No complaints. I already feel better, and feel like I have more energy and desire to do stuff I normally like doing. Which is a very good thing, I definitely missed being "me". Well, I guess I better try to get something done before the day is over. Hasta.

Thats pretty screwed up that you didn't meet the therapists criteria. I think a decent person would want to try to solve their problems anyway possible before turning to medication, and not the other way around. But so it goes in today's world...
Ok...that is the most fucked up thing I ever heard! Total bullshit! How could any place turn away people like that just because they didn't FAIL enough?
